Below are the tools I use everyday to help grow my own businesses.  You’ll definitely want to bookmark this page as I will add new tools as I start using them.

Bluehost

I highly recommend starting your site or switching over to BlueHost for hosting. They have a one-click WordPress install option along with tons of free tutorials on how to get everything setup/started. Unlike Godaddy or HostGator, you won’t have to worry about your site constantly going down or slow loading time due to overcrowded servers. Plus the Bluehost team is very friendly and surprisingly fast at responding to any issues you might have with your service.

Themeforest

Instead of hiring a designer or developer to spend hundreds of hours designing something you might not like we always recommend starting with a theme. There are plenty of free ones but Themeforest offers some great premium themes with advanced functionality that would easily cost tens of thousands of dollars to build out custom. Need a car dealer site? Yeah they have that. Realtor and need a site? They got you covered.

Manage Flitter

Hands down the best tool for managing your Twitter account. Easily unfollow people who aren’t following you back. Pro features allow you to easily follow people with similar interests are you with their advanced search tool. PowerPost finds the best time to post based when your followers are online so you know each tweet has biggest reach potential.

Freshbooks

Freshbooks is a wonder of a accounting application. We use it to track all our financials, send estimates, invoices and even track our contractors time. Well worth the low monthly cost and saves us tons of money rather than having a full time accountant.
